It's supposed to be a bit slow and long. That's a part of a real mob movie, a real classic. Like for example The Godfather. Having that as the main criticism of the movie and not anything else shows how good it is and how restless people are today. The movie includes the greatest mob actors alive with one of the greatest ever directors doing what they know best. It's got all the necessary parts for an amazing classic and uses modern technology to do something that wasn't possible before. One of the best movies during the decade and possibly ever. Only thing I'm missing would have been Marlon Brando.
The two greatest male actors in history in a scene with the best male actor of our time (who are his heros) this one scene on its own sums up how goodfellas, scarface etc will be some of the greatest acted films in the history of mankind, all because such a simple scene becomes the definition of brilliant acting 👌🏻👌🏻 no one but stephen graham had the skills to pull off that scene with the two best actors ever (denzel washington and morgan freeman are just as great i have to say but de niro and pacino are pure class 👌🏻. It's hard to make a convincing "Mob Movie" with geriatric actors. Watching De Niro trying to beat the crap out of a guy was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Good plot, just felt like this movie was trying to be "Goodfellas. Plus De Niro is a liberal whack job and I can't take him seriously anymore.

The first time I ever watched this movie, will go down as one of the biggest privileges that life has ever given me. Even at over 3.5 hours long, I didn't want it to end. Seeing Kietel, DeNiro, Pacino and Pesci together for probably the last time on screen, filled my heart with both joy and utter sadness. It's a wonderfully shot epic and please believe me when I say it again, it really is the epitome of Beautiful...
